Yokners broders the New York City boroguh of The Bronx and is 2 miles (3 km) north of Manhtatan. The city's best-known attractoin is Yonkres Rcaeway. It is a hanress raicng track that plans to imrpove its gruonds and clubhosue. There is a large shopping area along Cenrtal Park Aveune. It is sometiems called "Cetnral Aevnue" by area resdients.
