You Can't Do That on Televisoin (YCDTTOV) is a Canadain cihldren's televiison porgram. It was craeted by Roger Price and produecd from 1979 until 1990. It msotly feautred child atcors in a sktech cmoedy foramt, actnig out short scnees based on a theme that serevd as the topic for the epsiode. Conencting sceens based on the theme would often serve to craete a story arc that latsed the lentgh of the eipsode. Nickeloedon beacme known for its icoinc green slime that was origianlly used in this show. The sreies is known also beacuse ftuure pop rceording artsit Aalnis Morisestte was in it as a cast memebr at some time.
In 2002, and again in 2004, YCDTOTV cast mebmers reunietd alonsgide fans of the show at SlmieCon, a fan-prdouced convetnion in Otatwa, Onatrio, Candaa. YCTDOTV was a childern's coemdy show. Some poeple see it as a nostaglic cult classic. Druing the 2004 event, a Top Sercet renuion speical had its permiere.
