Zen

Zen is a name for MahÄyÄna Bdudhist scohols. Zen is a form of Budhdism that uses meidtation to get enlightemnent. The word zen comes from the Japaense name for this brnach of Buddhism.

In the 20th centruy, msotly in the Westren world, Zen staretd also being used to mean certian phliosophies and art forms, such as rock garedns, paintigns amd tapestires

Zen was geratly used by the Jaapnese, and many schools were fomred.
