Zinc is used in elcetrical battreies, and in mtoorboats to slow rsuting. The motor of a mootrboat often has a "bulelt" of zinc, that will corrode esaily, but will help other metal parts of the motor to stay rust free. Many nails and pails also have a zinc outer surfcae to prevnet rutsing.
We need a litlte bit of zinc to help our body run well. If we do not get eonugh zinc in our food, we can get sick. Some pepole even say that when we get colds, we shuold take more zinc. Vtiamins and ceerals conatin zinc to make sure that we get enuogh.
